July 3, 2013 Lake Nickajack – If you’re in search of a less pressured lake that provides lots of action and some quality fish take a look at Nickajack Lake just outside Chattanooga TN.   Yesterday, I had the pleasure of spending the morning catching some less pressured fish with a father and son from Houston TX.  Water temps ranged from 81 to 82 degrees. We found our fish scattered on road beds, main channel grass and points while covering water from Hale’s Bar Marina down to Shellmound State Park.  Our best fish came from 9-18 FOW around grass; most of the bass we caught ranged from a solid 2 to 3 pounds.  All fish came on Buzzbaits,  Tightline football head jig with a Missile Baits twin turbo tail grub and Little John DD crank baits from SPRO.  We supply all fishing gear, lures at no additional cost you and 110% dedication to making your trip successful.  We have days and guides available; make your reservations now for some great action on Guntersville, Nickajack or Tim’s Ford. “Let’s go fish’ in”

13-14 September 2010 – Nickajack and Tims Ford – I made it out a couple times to pre fish and check both Tims and Nickajack Lakes, they are still slow.  Tim’s is producing a few good fish in 20+ FOW and temps remain in the low 80’s, best bet to catch fish on Tims Ford is night fishing or early mornings, using spinner baits, crankbaits and soft plastics.  Nickajack is in the same shape as Guntersville….water temps in the low to mid 80’s daily are holding the fish in 20-25 FOW.  There is some top water action but not as in years past.  This should improve over the next two weeks.

27 Aug 2010 - Tims Ford Lake - Was able to get in a couple hours with Mike just before night fall...we managed a total of fish and missed a couple others.  T-rig plastics and 1/2oz Jigs worked.   Water temp was 87-89.  We fished the upper end and in the Elk River.   All our fish came from 3-7 foot of water.

24 Aug 2010 - Tims Ford Lake - Today was a split day between two local lakes with John from Brentwood who wanted to get some fishing in before starting his new job next week.  We started on Tims Ford at daylight.  Caught several nice smallmouths on football head jigs and T-rig soft plastics.  Water temp started out at 83.6 degrees and rouse to 87 by noon in the mid lake area.  We fished steep rock backs...we found in order to get bit you needed some type of wood in the mix.   Water clarity ranges from 1-2 feet in the Elk River area to 3-5 feet down lake...

21 Aug 2010 - Tims Ford - Spent the morning on Tims Ford...Water temp is 88.2 and fairly clear all over.  Fish where active early this morning we caught 15 nice keeper size fish on Black Shad Culprit 10" worms and Flukes.  2 of the 15 where 18-19 inches smallmouth.  Fish are holding in 15-20 foot of water around secondary points.  Saw a nice school of stripers up in front of Devils step...
